Expose problems hiding in the data

Honeycomb allows you to discover and address glitches in the enterprise before they surface. In this scenario, a buyer must quickly learn which parts need to be ordered first to avoid production problems. To address this issue, configure Honeycomb in the following manner:

1. In the Search menu, check Show Parts with 1 or 0 onsite . If no spare parts are immediately available, a breakage here would interrupt production.
2. In the Filters menu, set Supplier Lead Time to 72 hours . In this scenario, these are the parts whose suppliers require 3 days before they can get parts to the fabrication facility.

Immediately, you notice that Diffusion/Oxidation/Annealing requires attention, as it contains low numbers of parts in several part categories where suppliers have a long lead time.
